This shoe is a little more generous than our older styles. In general people will stay with their ‘average’ EU size.
The length and width of the insole of this shoe is as below. The actual length/width of the inside of the shoe is a little more than the insole length/width. The shoe has good volume in the forefoot so the actual comfortable width of this shoe will be a few mm greater than this ‘flat’ measurement. Fit is personal, but most people will prefer to have at least 5 or 7mm spare room in front of your largest toe(s). USA sizing is below the European:

Love these shoes, they really do surpass both the Vivo Primus SGs and the Xero mesa trails I’ve been running in up till now. The fit is much better, they are genuinely wide enough whereas size 38s in the others are not quite wide enough in the toe box, also there’s not that annoying crease across the forefoot which tends to happen with Vivo shoes. The grip is great, especially on rock. I really appreciate that you don’t do separate styles for women but have all sizes in every style, that is very refreshing, and you always seem to have stock available, a lack of which has been a constant frustration with the other brands. Also love that you have waterproof socks and different insoles available so that little adaptations can be made to footwear depending on weather and terrain. It’s great to be able to slip a ‘rock plate’ in when the going is particularly sharp ! Keep up the good work guys, looking forward to trying some of your boots once winter approaches.

Wow, you guys really hit it out of the park with these! I needed a breathable and quick-drying shoe that did not compromise on traction or fit. The Feldoms totally fit the bill (and do it at a relatively low price for barefoot footwear).
I am in my typical size for these but they run larger than indicated on their size chart. I bought my normal size and the size up (the size up was my “correct” size in the chart) and I’m keeping the smaller pair. I love the toe box shape.
The traction is fantastic and incredibly grippy in mud and wet leaves. Even though they have decently large lugs, they are still quite flexible and have decent ground feel.
I’m suuuuuper happy with these and 10/10 recommend to anyone needing a more minimalist-yet-grippy trail shoe.
I just wish they came in more color options!

Just had my first run part way up Ben Nevis in the Feldoms, absolutely fantastic shoe ! Have been running in Vivobarefoot’s and xeros for years but the Feldoms are the first shoes I’ve found that are actually wide enough , I’m a size 4/5 and womens styles are usually too narrow
The grip on these is great and love the way the upper is scooped under the ankle bones , usually find other makes are stiff or restrictive there. Really fantastic shoe , can’t thank you enough for making these

Great job guys! This is going to be my new favorite shoe. I prefer a deeper tread pattern, especially on gravelly ground, so it’s perfect!

Have gotten to really test these out but I have to say the fit an finish is great. The lugs seem like they will perform perfectly on the trail an they feel very light an inspire confidence in adverse conditions.

Detailed review to follow on my blog, but: I’ve done about 100km of Pennine fell in these since I got them a week ago. The grip in mud is at least as good as the Vivo Primus SG I had before, if not a bit better. It’s definitely better on rock. Durability remains to be seen but if they do as well as the Connect2 I’ve had before I’ll get some good miles out of them. I’ve been wanting Freet shoes with better mud grip for years, I look forward to them being my go-to fell shoe for years to come.

I think I might have found my perfect off road shoe. I have a pair of flats for roads and a pair of very aggressive grips for riocky off road. But the off road shoes wear too fast in mixed terrain and hold mod between the grips. So I have been looking for something in between for ages and these might be it. I want something with zero drop, minimalist feel but they must give me grip in mud and off road and finally these tick those boxes. Plus they are amazingly light and feel great on the feet. I had to go up one size to get the perfect fit, now I just need to see how they wear.
