You are likely to need your ‘normal’ EU shoe size with Tanga. This shoe is an unlined single piece upper with a little stretch, so the fit is quite generous.
The length and width of the insole of this shoe is as below. Remember the shoe has good volume in the forefoot so the actual comfortable width of this shoe will be a few mm greater than this ‘flat’ measurement. Fit is personal, but most people will prefer to have at least 4 or 5mm spare room in front of your largest toe(s):

I received my pair of Tangas a week ago here in France. I am very satified with them. They feel quite comfortable. I like the wide space for the toes in the front. I really like their look. They have an elegant, relax and sporty look all at the same time, which I find very interesting. I also find the elasticated laces quite convenient, and I like that they come with a more conventional pair of laces.
Since they are my first barefoot shoes, I really appreciate the removable insole, which help me make the transition from conventional shoes easier.
If i had one remark to make, I’d say they are a bit loose around the heel for my liking, I would have prefered maybe a more snuggly feeling.
Overall, I’m very happy with them and will easily recommend them.

Having got a pair of Vivo Barefoot shoes a few weeks back and finding them very good, I was looking around to find a UK company who offered a wider range of styles that looked a little more casual as I don’t always want to use them for sport. After a ton of searching I finally found Freet and the Tangas caught my eye. I had a few questions so I called up and spoke to a wonderful lady who really took time to answer all my queries and I found the whole call so positive that I placed an order there and then. Today they arrived and I am overjoyed! They look amazing and feel like slippers. I was slightly unsure as to whether I should have ordered the size down (I went up one size), and this time spoke to a gentleman on the phone who really reassured me but said there was no problem if I wanted to send them back for a refund or smaller size. By the time I got off the phone I was so desperate to try them outside that I decided I didn’t care if they were the right size or not, I would keep them! So I walked for 90 minutes, they felt totally fine and I am so impressed I came home and placed another order for a pair of Tangas for my elderly Mum. She has had a few falls and I am hoping trying barefoot shoes might help her stability. For me, the benefit of barefoot so far has been much improved posture and improved back and hip comfort (I have scoliosis, lumbar arthritis and posterior pelvic tilt). I am so pleased and don’t think I will be wearing ‘normal’ footwear again.

I love my Tangas – worn them for a couple of months now for walking round our local footpaths and just during the day. The grip is super for paths and pavements and seemed to be ok in the wet week we had earlier in the month. During the hotter days they feeel cool and just easy to wear
