I purchased the Freet Mudee on June 17, 2024, for full-time use on my farm. I have a very wide foot, and these boots were one of the few that fit comfortably right out of the box. The zero-drop design, roomy toe box, and foot-shaped fit were exactly what I was looking for.
However, after about 8–10 months of regular farm use, they began leaking — and now I see why. The soles are visibly separating from the uppers along the flex points, especially at the ball of the foot and outer side. Moisture seeps in easily, even from dew-soaked grass. The boots still look fairly intact otherwise, but they’re no longer waterproof at all.
This is disappointing, especially given that the boots are marketed as waterproof. I didn’t expect perfection, but I did expect them to last longer than a year. If you’re doing light-duty walking or dry hiking, they may work well — but I can’t recommend them for real agricultural work or wet conditions.
