This shoe fits true to size
The best guide for sizing your new Freet shoes is to start with your usual shoe size. Think about whether you always take this size or whether you sometimes need to go smaller or larger.
Customer feedback is that this style fits true to size; so order your normal size.
Our shoes are originally produced in EU sizes. All UK sizes are the closest conversion so, if you know your EU size, you may want to consider using this.
It is vital that you allow at least 5mm extra at the front of the shoe. For example; your foot is 248mm long. You will likely need size EU40 to allow enough free space at the end of your shoe.
The lengths shown are the Insole lengths (the actual shoe length will be 2 or 3 mm longer).

Measuring Your Foot
Sometimes as a second check it is worth measuring your foot. Feet can be different sizes so its worth measuring both and taking the largest.
Standing next to a wall place a piece of paper against the wall. Place your foot on the paper with your heel just touching the wall.
- The next stage is easier if you get someone else to help do it.
- Take a pencil or pen and trace the outline of the foot on the paper.
- Start at the heel.
- Keep the pen at 90 degrees to the paper, so vertical, see diagram.
- Don't draw under the foot.
If possible, please work from the EU sizes (the US and UK sizes are nearest conversions to these sizes so will not be as accurate). The lengths and widths are the dimensions of the insole in mm measured as per the picture below:

This is the third pair we’ve bought since September (child growing like a weed!) and one pair could easily last the whole school year if growing wasn’t an issue. They’re well made, sturdy and easy to clean. Child finds them super comfortable for his exceptionally wide feet. The stitching is robust and the sole has good grip that lasts. A fab overall shoe.
I have had the same pair of this shoe and I use it DAILY for dog walking for more than 6 years and I don't know what magic vegan "leather" is this - they rarely get dirty, super easy to clean, still looks amazing after 6 years, super breathable!!! The shoes are also super comfortable. I came back to the website looking to see if Freet made any other vegan shoes with the same material. I so wish you would and in more traditional sneaker style like e.g. Groundies Universe. I would literally buy 10 to last me a lifetime, this is how much I love the material of this shoe and the great construction and quality you have!!!

I don't think these shoes are bad, but they did not work for me. The heel counters poked into my ankles, and I didn't trust that this would go away over time. (I have this problem with shoes from many brands, so maybe my anatomy is rather unique.). The shoes seemed a bit stiff in general. They might've softened up over time, or maybe I should have ordered a size smaller, who knows. I found a different brand of which the shoes felt comfortable right away. Also, the Freet Citee 2 still had a bit of that 'clown shoe' feel, whereas those other shoes looked a bit more normal, while still having a wide toebox.
I ended up sending these back. The return process was smooth and I got my money back.
I got the Citee 2 shoes, and so far I’m pretty happy with them. They’re comfortable, they look nice and they seem sturdy. I chose them because they were one of the few vegan options on the website, but I really like them. I hope that Freet will make more vegan designs in the future; I’d like a pair of brown ones; just putting it out there.

When will I receive my order?
All orders placed by 12.00 midday, Monday to Friday, should be dispatched the same day and delivered the next business day.
Please note orders placed on Friday may not be delivered until Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday may not be sent out until the following Monday.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs £3.50 to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shipping to Isle of Mann is £5.00.
Shipping to England and Wales is with DPD 24 hour. Shipping to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Mann shipping is with Evri 1-2 days.
Where are shoes shipped from?
All orders to customers in the UK are sent from our warehouse in England.
