This shoe fits true to size

The best guide for sizing your new Freet shoes is to start with your usual shoe size. Think about whether you always take this size or whether you sometimes need to go smaller or larger.

Customer feedback is that this style fits true to size; so order your normal size.

Our shoes are originally produced in EU sizes. All UK sizes are the closest conversion so, if you know your EU size, you may want to consider using this.

It is vital that you allow at least 5mm extra at the front of the shoe. For example; your foot is 248mm long. You will likely need size EU40 to allow enough free space at the end of your shoe.

The lengths shown are the Insole lengths (the actual shoe length will be 2 or 3 mm longer).

Measuring Your Foot

Sometimes as a second check it is worth measuring your foot. Feet can be different sizes so its worth measuring both and taking the largest.

Standing next to a wall place a piece of paper against the wall. Place your foot on the paper with your heel just touching the wall.

The next stage is easier if you get someone else to help do it.
Take a pencil or pen and trace the outline of the foot on the paper.
Start at the heel.
Keep the pen at 90 degrees to the paper, so vertical, see diagram.
Don't draw under the foot.

Taking a ruler measure the length of the outline in millimetres. This will be the exact size of the insole you will need. To ensure the fit is not tight add another 5.0 - 10.0 mm to the length. If you wear thick socks then add that thickness to the length.

If possible, please work from the EU sizes (the US and UK sizes are nearest conversions to these sizes so will not be as accurate). The lengths and widths are the dimensions of the insole in mm measured as per the picture below:

When will I receive my order?

All orders placed by 12.00 midday, Monday to Friday, should be dispatched the same day and delivered the next business day.

Please note orders placed on Friday may not be delivered until Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday may not be sent out until the following Monday.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs £3.50 to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shipping to Isle of Mann is £5.00.

Shipping to England and Wales is with DPD 24 hour. Shipping to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Mann shipping is with Evri 1-2 days.

Where are shoes shipped from?

All orders to customers in the UK are sent from our warehouse in England.

Returns & Refunds

If your shoes do not suit, you can return for a full refund, subject to our refund policy. We do not do exchanges.

I really wanted to like them more.

I was looking for a running shoe that had slightly more protection underneath than my Vibram KSO Evos, and a bit less cushion than my Altra Escalante Racers. I thought I'd found exactly what I was after with the Freet Vibe 2.

I checked as many honest reviews as I could find on the Internet - sadly there don't seem to be a huge amount of reviews for Freet, perhaps because not enough people know about them? The reviews I found appeared positive, suggesting the shoe was very responsive and very spacious. They recommended ordering a size up as they fit small.
So I ordered one size up to my usual EU size...

They arrived promptly and initial thoughts were "wow, these feel very large". I am however concerned that if I returned them to order the next size down, they might not be big enough... So the sizing isn't quite right for me.

Having now run in them a few times, I can confirm that these do have some spring to them and feel responsive, however I find them to be quite heavy for a running shoe and I have also noticed that they make my feet feel very hot, very quickly.

I like the style of these shoes and I appreciate how roomy they are in the toe box, but, disappointingly, I find them too big and too heavy and too hot to be a regular running choice.

I found them to work okay in the gym and on a treadmill, but still made my feet very hot.

I think with a few adjustments, these could be a really good shoe.

Incidentally, my wife bought the Feldom trail shoes and absolutely loves them!

I'm hoping I might have more luck if I get a future pair of Freet shoes.

Comfy & good quality, but sizing is off.

I'm usually a size 9/EU 43, so that's what I ordered for these. I have one foot that is marginally bigger than the other, so whilst my left foot is fine, my right foot is not. My big toe is squashed and painful whilst wearing this shoe. I have not had this issue with the Freet Nimbus shoes that I've been wearing for almost a year.

I recommend going up a size - or half a size in my case - if you plan on buying these.
