Very cool looking boot

They look awesome, a lot of hiking shoes these days are not easy on the eyes.. They also have great traction, and seem very well built with quality materials.. that being said though, they feel a little stiff and noticeably uncomfortable around the ankles -I have to keep them a bit loosely tied, and I would not describe them as a breathable shoe, my feet begin to sweat in them very easily which isn’t something I’ve dealt with prior. They’re not perfect but I’ll keep wearing ‘em!

Sturdy and waterproof but stiff

Pros: They feel very sturdy and stood up to a walk through puddles and in the rain without any wetness inside the shoe. Super wide and great shape without the taper that a lot of other brands have.
Cons: They feel quite stiff for now so I'm hoping they soften with wear. Because the gusseted tongue is quite thick, they are hard to lace up tight. It's also hard to get the laces around the hooks right at the ankle.
Size: they seem to run big.

at last!

after decades of difficulty and pain due to very wide feet and high foot bulk, I have found walking boots that fit, are comfortable and give me confidence. I have just worn them all day, every day, for a week and at no point did I feel I might slip, or that my boots were too narrow.

Too small for me

They look like good boots, but they were too small for me and the next size up is no longer available. Nice wide toebox.
I am going to have to return them.
