This shoe fits small: consider a larger size
The best guide for sizing your new Freet shoes is to start with your usual shoe size. Think about whether you always take this size or whether you sometimes need to go smaller or larger.
Customer feedback is that this style fits small to size; if you sometimes have to go up a size, it is more likely that you may need to go up a size with this style.
Our shoes are originally produced in EU sizes. All UK sizes are the closest conversion so, if you know your EU size, you may want to consider using this.

Measuring Your Foot
Sometimes as a second check it is worth measuring your foot. Feet can be different sizes so its worth measuring both and taking the largest.
Standing next to a wall place a piece of paper against the wall. Place your foot on the paper with your heel just touching the wall.
- The next stage is easier if you get someone else to help do it.
- Take a pencil or pen and trace the outline of the foot on the paper.
- Start at the heel.
- Keep the pen at 90 degrees to the paper, so vertical, see diagram.
- Don't draw under the foot.
If possible, please work from the EU sizes (the US and UK sizes are nearest conversions to these sizes so will not be as accurate). The lengths and widths are the dimensions of the insole in mm measured as per the picture below:

When will I receive my order?
All orders placed by 12.00 midday, Monday to Friday, should be dispatched the same day and delivered the next business day.
Please note orders placed on Friday may not be delivered until Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday may not be sent out until the following Monday.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs £3.50 to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shipping to Isle of Mann is £5.00.
Shipping to England and Wales is with DPD 24 hour. Shipping to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Mann shipping is with Evri 1-2 days.
Where are shoes shipped from?
All orders to customers in the UK are sent from our warehouse in England.
Returns & Refunds
If your shoes do not suit, you can return for a full refund, subject to our refund policy. We do not do exchanges.
These are amazing shoes. I'm new to barefoot shoes and did a lot of research before purchasing these (including trying other brands - Vivobarefoot (too narrow) and Xero Shoes (too stiff)). The Vibe trainers are honestly perfect. They are properly wide, not overly long, snug in the heel, and have a healthy amount of volume space - the perfect shape for my feet. And bonus - they look great! They look foot-shaped, but close enough to "normal" shoes that they don't stand out like some other brands. The faded colour design is really stylish.
I walked about 10 miles yesterday, and these held up very well. Super comfortable, but I still felt "barefoot." I could feel the ground but my feet were well protected. I didn't feel rushed to take them off when I got home, and my feet are not sore at all. I was a little worried they might be hot (and it's currently one of many heatwaves in the UK) but I didn't notice so assume that was fine too. No breaking in needed - although I will be careful as the guidance is to ease into fully barefoot to avoid injury. I could definitely tell my posture and gait changed on the walk, but in a good way. (I'm in my 30s and have an athletic background but have had many hip/leg/ankle injuries if that's a helpful data point.)
I did size up as that was recommended, so got a 6 instead of a 5. The sizing chart is super helpful, showing the inside length and width of the shoe, which many other companies don't do. My left foot is a centimetre shorter (23.5cm) than my right (24cm) and I have pretty wide feet (9-10cm). The UK 6 fits great. Try them on at the end of the day when your feet are at their biggest!
I also love that this company is based in the UK and family-run, as I try to support local business where I can.
Can't find a single thing to complain about. The sizing recommendations were valid - order one size larger than your real size. Very comfortable and light. We'll see about durability, but I hope they last a long time.
Second pair of Freets I have had. These are so comfortable from the first time you put them on. No breaking in needed. I always recommend them to friends and family. True to size.
I love it. I wanted something to switch from my Nike trainers. Love it for running.
