Citee

I'm 70. This is my 3rd barefoot shoe that I've now had for over a year. My first 2 pair were from other more well known barefoot companies that didn't wear as well. My freet's are my go to shoe. I just ordered another. the first is in impressively good shape despite lots of wear, but I'm trying the York 2 slightly dressier model (the (still good for outdoors). I researched and researched to find a barefoot shoe that looked good enough for my office and functional for outdoor. I wanted one that was a reasonable balance of price, looks and function. I read the descriptions and ratings of at least 20 barefoot companies (many were good). I settled on Citee - knowing I could return it if needed. I ended up needing to try 2 sizes. They were great at communicating and customer service (very important) and helping me with advice, getting the right size and flawless returns. Now that I am know how good it is, i plan to order a 3rd Freet and get rid of the rest of my "regular" shoes, including my super ergonomic German Finn Comforts and Birkenstocks that I realize - aren't as ergonomic as barefoot.

The Citee was a dream come true for me. I'm a committed barefoot shoe wearer, but had trouble finding a casual/dressy shoe that was *vegan*. As luck would have it Freet, my favorite shoe company, came through. A good looking barefoot dress shoe that I can wear all day. What more can you ask for. This shoe is as comfortable as all the other Freet shoes I have bought. I purchased my usual size, 43, and it fits perfect. Well done Freet!

This is a great shoe, it is smart and looks great with my school clothes. For a first barefoot shoe it would be good as it feels snug. That could be an issue with those of us who have been wearing these for a while. The fit is narrow and if you have been wearing barefoot shoes for a a while your feet will be wider - if you start with wide feet this is even more of an issue. Sizing the length is good but the fit is narrow - this is an important note. The shoes are good and I will be happy wearing them but they are narrow and don't allow much foot spread.

Den Citee habe ich jetzt seit 1,5 Monaten und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Der Schuh ist sehr angenehm zu tragen und man merkt keinen Nachteil zu Lederschuhen. Auch im Regen hat der Schuh bisher ausreichend Schutz geboten. Die einzige Kritik bisher ist, dass bei den Schnürsenkeln sehr schnell der weiße Kern durch die schwarze Hülle durchschaut.

Dies ist mein zweites Paar Barfußschuhe von Freet. Das erste ist das Model Tundra gewesen, dass ich seit 2 Jahren regelmäßig trage. Ich bin täglich etwa 15 Km zu Fuß unterwegs, und die Freet Barfußschuhe sind von den vielen anderen Barfußmarken die einzigen, die meinen Bedürfnissen voll entsprechen.
